Now, I know Catherine and Heathcliff’s love story gets referenced nearly everywhere, especially in other love stories. They were soul mates, they had a love so passionate that even death could not interfere with (and believe me Death is kind of a hardcore guy). I think though, that’s what made this story so miserable for me. Is it still love if it has become destructive?
